After working on my new budget for a few weeks, I felt a stronger sense of control over my finances. I studied my spending habits and realized that if I would be willing to make a few compromises, there could be something left to put away for retirement. The problem was that saving cash in the bank would not be enough to retire on by the age of 65. I had to find a better way. All I needed was one good idea and it could change my life. At that point my journey began in earnest in search of new ideas.
